Your dirty stove

24” x 36” Oil on canvas

This painting captures the chaotic aftermath of cooking breakfast for a group. The messy counters, grime on the stove, and scattered dishes and utensils mark the evidence of a lived-in kitchen—full of action and life.

I’m fascinated by the tension between mess and care. A dirty kitchen might feel overwhelming, but those dirty dishes tell a story: people were fed, moments were shared, and routine became something real. This piece embraces that raw, unpolished energy—a snapshot of domestic life in all its imperfect glory.
