Named after a lyric on a Patsy Cline song, this piece was inspired by a room I stumbled into that held a record player spinning Patsy Cline’s Greatest Hits. I’d never been much of a Patsy Cline fan until that moment — the music, the space, and the unexpected mood of the scene came together and became the spark for this painting.
