This Diptych shows the struggle of trying to fit a game of double solitaire on the two small coffee shop tables while also juggling drinks and food. A very specific scene of going into the crowded Cafe Blue on a Sunday and attempting to find an opening where we can play some solitaire and drink coffee. We always end up with the small tables in the corner, too small for both the cardgame and the drinks and so one must give. We play a halfhearted game of solitaire before we give up and put the cards away. A funny moment that keeps happening and yet we decide to bring the cards every single time.
