Booth Please was inspired by the orange table at a local diner. I've been interested in shared meals, half-finished plates, and the interactions that happen around food. Someone reaching across the table, eatting off eachothers plates, a conversation that goes on and on. I like the idea of using painting to pause these otherwise fleeting experiences and spend more time with something that would normally be temporary.
