THE FRENCH PRESS
14” x 20” Oil on canvas
This painting shows a French press, two cups of coffee, and a small vase of flowers—captured at Cafe Blue in Fairhaven. It’s a cozy, welcoming spot, and this scene was taken just as it was. Nothing arranged or planned—just a quiet table on a slow day.
I’m drawn to these kinds of everyday setups—slightly imperfect, a little in-progress, and full of life. The colors and light in this piece are warm and soft, trying to reflect the calm feeling of the space.
Like Cafe Blue, The French Press continues my focus on real moments—small scenes that might normally go unnoticed but feel familiar and personal.
