14” x 20” Oil on canvas

This work is about a small ritual that became part of my weekdays: biking to a nearby coffee shop for their “cappy hour”—a noon to 2pm cappuccino special. It was a quiet, grounding break in the middle of the day.

This piece captures the warmth of that habit—sunlight bouncing off the table and flowers, the comfort of a slow weekday and a familiar cup. It’s about rhythm, routine, and the way something simple can become something you look forward to.
